Follow The Glyphs

My name is Gabriel Patin and in 2011, I began the Glyphs project. It started as an artistic experiment with the goal to create a modern set of Hieroglyphics. Inspired by Ancient Symbology, and the Mayan Glyphs, I spent a year crafting the 26 Umiian Glyphs and their meanings.

In their current form, each Glyph represents a letter of the alphabet, day of the month and aspect of your life. The glyphs can be used to reflect upon your potential and help inspire you in your life.

Our Mission

The mission behind The Glyphs project is to create products that utilise the Umiian Glyphs, inorder to offer fashion choices that both inspire and have positive empowering messages build into their designs, based on the specific glyphs used. The Glyphs project also aims to give a portion of it’s profits to organisations that help empower those in need, heal those in pain and improve the environments we enjoy.
